Our Story.
Inaugurated in October 2023 during the 100 year-mark of the legacy of Omukama Cwa II Kabalega, Kabalega Independence Run is an annual social event that brings the community together to run for various causes of common good.
Goals.
Every year we seek to use Kabalega Independence Run as a platform for mobilizing the community to raise awareness and raise resources to tackle community concerns of common interest.
Impact.
Through the run, we are impacting community, promoting community health, fostering social bonds, promoting and supporting local businesses, and contributing to saving of lives through the annual KIR blood donation drive.
